I grew up in rural Alaska, and escaped to college in Boston, where I got a haircut, some new friends, and a new personality. I lived for sometime in Germany and Holland, backpacking around Europe and generally loving life. Then, I spent two punishing years in Qatar paying off my student debts, and now call the UAE home...I can't stand republicans, like tofu, and make a lot of references to film and literature in conversation. I am a little annoying, but well intentioned. I drink boxed wine and write a lot- magazine articles, blog entries, ransom notes, you name it. Always looking for new friends in Abu Dhabi. According to esteemed members of the RAF, my bum is "peachy". I would like to think so. I can't sleep naked, sadly. Prone to ridiculous romantic entanglements with foreign men. I am a girl, not a woman. My life is weird, messy, ridiculous, and filled with strange and often funny/embarrassing incidents. I've had food poisoning in Vietnam, I've been to a few nude spas. I try and I fail and just kind am who I am. I hope that's ok.
